Comedian Tom Arnold Headlines A Night Out in Playhouse Village at Ice House
A Night Out in Playhouse Village on February 7th will jump-start Playhouse Village Foundation’s fundraising drive to activate and enhance Playhouse Village Park in 2024. The nation’s oldest comedy club, the Ice House, is the venue and comedian Tom Arnold of TV’s Roseanne fame is the headliner for this annual celebration and community-building event to support public spaces within the 34-square block Playhouse Village in the heart of Pasadena. Ice House impresario and Lakers co-owner Johnny Buss will greet attendees of the event, which will include local food and drinks plus curated silent and live auctions – and lots of laughter.
A Night Out in Playhouse Village is made possible by Village Hero Sponsor, Lagerlof LLC, Pasadena’s largest law firm that calls Playhouse Village home. The Swig Company and Ice House are Village Silver Sponsors of the evening.
Playhouse Village Foundation Chair Phil Hawkey notes that “all proceeds of A Night Out in Playhouse Village will fund free public programs in Playhouse Village Park during 2024, including the Jazz in the Park concert series, Movies in the Park, activities for children, dog and their owners, holiday events and more. Playhouse Village residents, businesses and visitors will experience the results of this fund-raising effort all year long.”
